Scott competes in LOLMDS Labor Day weekend doubleheader
Taking part in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) doubleheader, Stormy Scott visited Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Ky.) on Friday night for the 16th annual John Bradshaw Memorial. Following a seventh place finish in his heat, Scott logged a 12th place outing in his B-Main, forcing him to rely on a provisional into the opening night feature. Rolling off 24th, Stormy was an early retiree from the 50-lapper on lap 14.
The following night at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) for the Bob Miller Memorial River Days Rumble 50, Stormy laid down the fourth fastest time in his group before picking up a heat race victory. With $12,000 on the line in the feature, Scott faded 10 spots in the 50-lap affair to record a 13th place outing.
