Top 10 Finish in Reopening Tour Finale at East Bay Raceway Park

Stormy Scott followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) to East Bay Raceway Park (Tampa, Fla.) on Monday afternoon for the second half of the Reopening Tour. Drawing 35 cars for the Geico East Bay Nationals, Scott laid down the fifth fastest time in his qualifying group before placing third in his heat. Starting the opening night feature in 12th, Stormy brought out a caution on lap eight after a broken right-front lower control arm sidelined him for the remainder of the evening.

Wrapping up the Geico East Bay Nationals on Wednesday, Scott secured his spot into the $7,000-to-win finale with a third place finish in his heat. Breaking into the Top-10, Stormy jumped up three spots in the 40-lapper to place ninth.
