Stormy Scott Debuts in Rocket Chassis at Magnolia Motor Speedway

With several precautionary measures in place to host the event during the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Stormy Scott traveled to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) on Friday night debuting his Mesilla Valley Transportation No. 2s Rocket Chassis Late Model. Drawing 41 cars for the Magnolia Mayhem 40, Scott came up one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place finish. Needing a fourth place finish or better in his B-Main, Stormy landed a third place finish, but contact late in the consolation event damaged his nose and forced him to scratch from the $5,000-to-win A-Main.
