Dirt Track World Championship brings Stormy Scott to PRP

To wrap up the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) season, Stormy Scott invaded Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) on Saturday afternoon for the rain-shortened General Tire Dirt Track World Championship. With the 60-car field divided into two groups, Stormy missed a transfer spot in his heat by two positions, relegating him into the B-Main. Coming in second behind Dustin Linville, Scott locked into the 22nd-starting position for the $100,000-to-win Dirt Track World Championship.

Pulling off early with 52 circuits remaining, Stormy was credited with a 20th-place outing.
