13th-place finish in Pittsburgher 100 at PPMS
Stormy Scott made the lone trip to Raceway 7 (Conneaut, Ohio) on Friday afternoon to kick off a doubleheader weekend with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). Drawing 27 Late Models for the Great Lakes 50, Stormy came in seventh in his heat before picking up a 10-lap consolation victory. Improving three spots in the 50-lap feature, Scott posted a 16th-place outing.
On Saturday afternoon at Pittsburgh Pa. Motor Speedway (Imperial, Pa.) for the 32nd annual Pittsburgher 100, Scott’s second-place finish in his heat race placed him seventh on the starting grid for the $20,000-to-win finale. Fading outside the Top-10, Stormy dropped six spots in the 100-lap affair to finish 13th.
