Stormy scores Top-10 finish in John Bradshaw Memorial at Ponderosa
Taking part in the doubleheader weekend in the Bluegrass State, Stormy Scott followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) to Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Ky.) on Friday afternoon for the 15th annual John Bradshaw Memorial. In a field of 25 cars, Scott posted a seventh-place finish in his heat, which positioned him 19th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. With $12,000 on the line, Stormy passed 11 cars in the 50-lapper to register an eighth-place finish.
The following night at Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) for the Ralph Latham Memorial, Stormy topped the 38-car field in time trials before placing second in his heat behind Jonathan Davenport. Starting the $15,000-to-win A-Main in fifth, Scott dropped six spots in the 60-lap affair to finish 11th.
