Scott Brothers Racing close out Florida Speedweeks at Bubba Raceway Park
For the final two events of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) Florida Speedweeks slate, Stormy and Johnny Scott visited Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Fla.) on Monday night to compete on the 3/8-mile, D-shaped oval. Drawing 49 cars, Stormy finished in 10th in his heat while Stormy came in 11th. Needing a third place finish or better in their B-Main, both drivers fell short of a transfer position.
On Tuesday evening for the $10,000-to-win finale, Johnny posted a seventh place finish in his heat while Stormy finished one spot lower in eighth. Transferring the Top 3 out of the B-Main, Stormy came two spots shy with a fifth-place finish while Johnny placed 7th.
