Stormy Scott competes with Hunt the Front Series at Thunderhill
Stormy Scott made a surprise appearance in the Volunteer State over the weekend with a trip to Thunderhill Raceway Park (Summertown, Tenn.) for the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series-sanctioned doubleheader.
Lined up on the seventh row for Friday’s opener via preliminary results, Scott lost one spot in the 30-lapper to finish 15th.
Starting off strong on Saturday, Stormy followed up the second-fastest time in his 19-car qualifying group with a heat race victory. Starting the $15,000-to-win Mark Fields Memorial finale in third, Scott was an early retiree from the 50-lap affair after getting turned around on lap 17.
