Scott notches seventh-place finish in WWS finale at Vado
Stormy Scott rejoined the 39-car field at Vado (New Mexico) Speedway Park over the weekend for the final two rounds of the 19th annual Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout miniseries.
After finishing 22nd in Saturday’s event, Scott bounced back on Sunday, capping off the weekend with a strong run in the finale. A runner-up finish in his heat race earned him a spot on the fourth row for the $25,000-to-win main event, where he rode to a consistent seventh-place finish in the 50-lap affair.
