Top-5 finish with American Racer Modified Series at Route 66

Stormy Scott returned to familiar ground this past weekend, competing in the American Racer Modified Series doubleheader at Route 66 Motor Speedway.

On Friday, Scott kicked off the weekend strong, finishing second in his heat before making an impressive climb from 11th to second in the 20-lap opener.

Saturday’s USRA-sanctioned finale saw Scott secure runner-up honors in his heat race. He then gained one position in the 35-lap feature, crossing the finish line fifth behind winner Reece Solander, Rodney Sanders, Tyler Davis, and Jason Hughes.
