Stormy Scott drives to fourth in USRA Fall Nationals
Stormy Scott went back to his roots this past weekend, heading to New Mexico’s Vado Speedway Park for the USRA Fall Nationals, which began Friday.
He opened the weekend with a solid run, advancing from 14th to seventh in the feature after transferring through a B Feature.
On Saturday, Scott kicked off stronger, edging out Reece Solander in his heat to claim the eight-lap victory. However, engine trouble in the feature forced an early exit.
On Sunday, Scott switched gears, piloting Cade Dillard’s secondary car in the finale. After winning his heat race to secure a spot in the $20,000-to-win main event, he closed the weekend with a strong performance, improving seven positions in the 35-lap feature to finish fourth. He chased Cade Dillard, Tanner Mullens, and Terry Phillips to the checkers, with Reece Solander finishing fifth.
