Scott grabs first win of 2025 at Route 66 Motor Speedway

Stormy Scott made an emphatic start to his month of May, claiming his first victory of the season at Route 66 Motor Speedway.

Scott’s weekend at the Amarillo, Texas oval began with the Las Cruces, New Mexico native advancing into the feature with a strong sixth-to-second showing in his heat. Starting the feature in fourth, Stormy raced into the lead on lap nine and paced the final 12 circuits to claim his first win of the season and the $1,000 winner's payday.

He finished 0.659 seconds ahead of Brayden Kongdara with A.J. Sharpensteen rounding out the podium.
