Stormy Scott to Pilot CDR Backup Car at Fall Nationals Finale

With a tough break in the Fall Nationals weekend, the Scott faced engine troubles in the No. 2s machine. Thanks to the incredible generosity and teamwork of CDR Race Cars, the Dillard family, and the entire CDR team, Stormy Scott will be climbing behind the wheel of the No. 97s backup car for the final night of competition in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

We extend a huge thank you to Cade and Evie Dillard for stepping up and making this possible on such short notice. Their support truly embodies the spirit of racing—where competitors come together as family when it counts most.

A special shoutout to Donnie, Johnny, Foosh, and Henry for their hard work, time, and preparation to get the car ready for tonight’s event. Your dedication and teamwork keep this sport alive and thriving.
